Days after Young Jeezy's arrest for possession of a concealed weapon in Miami, his lawyer claims that the Atlanta rapper didn't own any of the firearms.

"Jeezy adamantly denies that any of the weapons belonged to him and I am confident that Jeezy will be vindicated," Scott Leemon, Jeezy's lawyer told the Miami Herald.

Jeezy (born Jay Jenkins) was freed on $7,500 bond on two counts of carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.

As SOHH previously reported, Jeezy and members of his crew were involved in an altercation around 5:30 a.m. on Friday (March 13). Marco Raez, a passerby, then reportedly began filming the fight before being spotted by Tramiel De Juan Golden, one of Jeezy's crew members. Raez contends that Golden demanded the camera.

According to Raez, Raheem Karriem, another Jeezy associate, began shooting when he refused to give up his camera. Once they secured the camera, Jeezy and about nine other men then fled the scene in two sport utility vehicles but authorities eventually caught up with them and found a semi-automatic firearm under Jeezy's seat.

Golden was charged with strong armed robbery and Steven Lesly Savain, another Jeezy associate, was taken into custody on trespassing charges stemming from previous warrant for his arrest.

Before he was stopped by police, Karriem smashed into three parked cars. Charges pressed against Karriem were not available at press time.

Jeezy is slated to be arraigned on the gun charges March 31 in Miami-Dade Circuit Court. Though court records list Jeezy as 28, his lawyer claims he's 26.
