Disco trash music // neon disco // remix by: Moonbootica...
NEON DiSCO // DiSCO TRASH MUSiC
>> Out on Vinyl & Digital - (Beatport, i-tunes...) <<
Freakz Me Out are starting 2009 with an absolute monster of a release!
After their debut on FMO, remixing Gooseflesh, they now have a whole bunch of high profile remixes lined up, including the likes of Azzido Da Bass, Moston & Malente and Play Paul.
So the stage is set for some original Disco Trash Music.....
and here it is in the form of "Neon Disco".
The original features a catchy counting rhyme vocal over a straight electro groove and detuned, gliding synths. Disco Trash Music's own club version of "Neon Disco" keeps the vocal but lays on more beef, some glitched-up funkyness and that little slogan that sums it all up:
DESTROY THE F*#%ING DANCE FLOOR!
And what a list of remixers we have this time.
First up is Kitsune's Alex Gopher, who delivers two pounding remixes that demonstrate why he is among the most in-demand remixers around.
The autoKratz from London, also Kitsuné artists, have recently remixed Fisherspooner as well as the mighty Underworld. Staying true to form, their remix is a perfectly arranged piece of stadium Electro.
Acidkids member Daniel Dexter is surfing on a wave of fame these days after his celebrated release on Exploited. His remix of "Neon Disco" is pure Berlin undergound party music. And we are not talking about minimal.
And as if all this wasn't enough, rounding off the package are the hugely popular Moonbootica from Hamburg. And their remix aims squarely for peak-time carnage, with a big bassline and cut up wild-pitch vocals over a stomping beat. Moonbootica's trademark hands-in-the-air
chords are introduced in the drop followed by a massive snare-driven build-up before all hell breaks loose.
